About the Wild Carrot
Wild Carrot in St. Louis is a wedding venue that is described as a non-traditional and semi-industrial eclectic space. Co-mingling in this space is a vibe that is all modern. You’ll also find the space to be inviting, with a nod to the vintage, antique, and elegant decay of an urban setting.
Wild Carrot is located in the Shaw neighborhood of St. Louis in a renovated theatre from 1915. Their semi-industrial space features steel girders, brick walls, and a cement floor. Accenting the venue is charming retro and eclectic decor, murals, and cozy lounge furniture. The venue includes 7300 sqft of event space as well as a front patio, gangway on the west side of the building, and 6900 sqft of outdoor green space just outside the garage door.
Why I love this St. Louis Wedding Venue
Truly, there is nowhere else in St. Louis quite like this! But my personal favorite thing about this venue is the abundance of options for non-traditional seatings and cozy nooks. While the ceremony and reception space are vast, there are still so many dimly lit and vibey corners. These corners of the venue are filled with antique, unusual, or mid-century modern furniture. I find these spaces are most excellent for conversations & cocktails.
Weddings at Wild Carrot
Wild Carrot has the capacity to host between 125 to 275 guests. For a more traditional seating, a maximum of 200 guests can be seated on the main level. If you require seating for up to 250 guests, the loft space will be utilized in combination with the main level. Additionally, when utilizing the lounge furniture & cocktail tables as seating, you can accommodate up to 275 guests!
If you plan on hosting an indoor wedding ceremony at Wild Carrot, then a maximum of 200 guests can be accommodated. This will also require a “room flip” during your cocktail hour to change the setting from ceremony to reception. Lastly, outdoor ceremonies at Wild Carrot can accommodate a maximum of 275 seated guests.
