My approach is simple:
My process allows couples to be genuinely themselves, and for guests to feel the reverence of the day without sacrificing real moments :
all while capturing them in the most authentic, soulful way.
The experience of working with me allows you to focus on what matters.
I want to document not only how your day looked, but felt.
A photographer can take a photograph, but it’s only a true artist who creates transportive heirlooms that can transcend the limitations of memory. My style is soulful, cinematic and unscripted. My goal is to capture the honesty of your story through the loudest moments, in the small subtlety of stolen glances, and through the stories unfolding all around.
I am thankful for the free spirited couples who believe photography is a way to preserve not only a historical record of an event, but also the true character of all people present on a wedding day. I cultivate a space of sincerity for my couples so they may experience staying fully present for all their most precious moments, without remembering they’re being photographed. Stunning portraiture and appreciation for detail is only the baseline. Authentic documentation flows naturally when the story is seen and felt by an artist who takes notice. There is no need to chose one or the other.
I remove the cookie-cutter boxes and reframe what it means to capture a wedding, while allowing the couple to actually savor the joys of celebration. By encouraging my couples to be their most authentic selves, I capture their wedding not as it’s been done before, but as expressed uniquely through our mutual individuality. I’m here for all the beauty, the perfectly imperfect, the mishaps, the happy tears and the sigh of relief as retold through timeless, visual poetry.
My couples will look back on their photographs and see a genuine depiction of who they really are.
