Villa Gamberaia provides its couples with all that a Tuscan wedding has to offer. Situated in the hills of Tuscany, just 20 minutes outside Florence lays Villa Gamberaia. A historic 17th-century villa known for its verdant gardens. While entering Villa Gamberaia you’ll be greeted by a road lined with Cypress trees! Then, you’ll be swept away by the villa’s famous gardens and ponds which overlook the lush hills of Arno Valley.
If you’re planning an opulent multi-day event for your Tuscan wedding, you can rent out the villa in its entirety. This requires a rental of one week. Thus allowing you to delight your guests with a welcome party, a rehearsal dinner, an after-party, or even a morning-after brunch. Villa Gamberaia has a maximum capacity of up to 900 guests for an outdoor reception. Or, for indoor receptions, two halls that each hold up to 200 guests. If you want to take in the sights of an alfresco reception, the grass terraces and gardens will provide long stretches of space for you to host your extensive list of family and friends.
If you still want all of the opulence that a Tuscan wedding has to offer, but in a more intimate setting, the grotto behind the villa will host your ceremony or reception. As can be seen, it is wrought with historical architecture. Nonetheless, it represents the epitome of Italian elegance. During your ceremony, your guests will sit nestled amongst the grotto’s stone stairways facing the beautifully inlaid ornate fountain.
