Founded in 1898 by the Swiss hotelier Cesar Ritz, the hotel quickly became a go-to for luxurious travelers such as royals, politicians, writers, film stars, and singers. In fact, several of the suites are named after well known guests who have stayed at the Ritz. By the same token, you’ll find one named after Coco Chanel, and a cocktail lounge called ‘Bar Hemingway’ named after famed writer Ernest Hemingway.

From intimate weddings to big destination weddings, the Ritz Paris Hotel offers you the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable experience. Indeed, The Grand Jardin (grand garden) is a gorgeous space for your summer outdoor wedding at the Ritz Paris. And also indoors there are 7 salons and ballrooms of varying sizes and with decor that you can choose for your destination wedding (scroll for more below!)

Suite Impériale

The Suite Impériale has also been listed by the French government as a national monument. In this situation, making it one of the world’s most comfortable historic monuments! This luxurious suite takes its inspiration from Versailles. Thus, the suite contains a full replica of Marie Antoinette’s last boudoir complete with a silk draped canopy bed. And yes, you can certainly rent this remarkable room and spend the night slumbering like royalty! In the suite, you will find many other aged charms such as ornate chandeliers and antique clocks.

The Grand Jardin

The Grand Jardin at Ritz Paris is a private oasis, hosting unique weddings and events in a one-of-a-kind setting. For your ceremony, 120 guests may attend your vows among the white flowers, magnolias, and manicured hedges. A garden party cocktail hour or reception can host up to 350 guests. The Grand Jardin is a befitting space for a wedding day that is timeless and unforgettable.

Salon Psyché

The Salon Psyché is listed as a historic monument because of its golden woodwork, majestic tapestry, and marble fireplace. As a wedding photographer, this is undoubtedly one of my favorite rooms! I think it’s a great location for a destination wedding in Paris. Furthermore, this gilded space can also be used for a vow renewal, an intimate wedding, or wedding photos. The Salon Psyché has a total capacity of 60 guests.

Ritz Paris Elopement Wedding

The Hotel Ritz Paris is one of the most beautiful wedding venues if you want to celebrate a small event such as your elopement or vow renewal. You can either celebrate a private outdoor ceremony in the Grand Jardin (grand garden) or book one of the smaller parlors to exchange your vows in private and intimate surroundings. One of my couples eloped to Paris and had their ceremony in Salon Psyché just the two of them, followed by a candlelight dinner. As an elopement photographer in Paris, I felt that this was one of the most intimate and beautiful elopements I had the pleasure of shooting in while in Paris.
