Castello di Vicarello is a 12th-century complex turned castle, and an amazing wedding venue to host your Tuscany destination wedding!
One of the most unique aspects of this Italian castle is the design of the amenities on the property. The property owners who began renovating the castle in the 1980s worked in Bali exporting furniture. Subsequently adding their own unique flair of Balinese-inspired design to the castle which is unseen in other parts of Tuscany. You’ll find the swimming pools and massage huts all constructed in Balinese style! Creating an interesting dichotomy between the castle’s Italian history and its modern-day owners who have a flair for design.
There is no shortage of breathtaking wedding venues in Tuscany for hosting a destination wedding. What makes Castello di Vicarello distinctive, aside from its unique design, is its many amenities, stunning views, and organic gardens and vineyards! Accordingly, the vineyards are fertilized homeopathically! Homeopathic fertilization provides an alternative approach to farming and gardening. Making this method free from the use of chemical fertilizers, fungicides, and pesticides. Additionally, the on-site chefs use the organic homegrown ingredients to create exquisite, palatable farm-to-table meals for all of their guests.

The stunning gardens provide a magnificent view and atmosphere for intimate and luxurious weddings alike. As a matter of fact, the grounds are fully open on your wedding day. You and your guests are welcome to explore the gardens and take in the views of Tuscany! Furthermore, Castello di Vicarello’s team has over a decade of experience servicing weddings and providing food, wine, music, florals, table settings, and marquees for their couples. Thus creating an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.
A barbeque will welcome your guests on the panoramic field. With your wedding day celebrated in gardens of lavender, climbing roses, or in the groves of the ancient olive trees. During cocktail hour, aperitifs are served in the courtyard. Later, you will enjoy stunning sunset views from the roof terrace. Wedding receptions at Castello di Vicarello are designed as galas under the stars. There is no curfew, noise ordinances, or neighbors so you can dance while to live music until the sun comes up (if you like!).
Accommodations & Amenities
The suites in the castle can comfortably accommodate up to 22 guests. Couples typically designate these rooms to their closest friends and family. If you have additional guests that require accommodations, the staff will help you find lodging and shuttle service at trusted nearby venues. For weddings with a guest list of over 20 people, Castello di Vicarello does require a booking for exclusive use. Exclusive use of the property carries a booking of a minimum three-night stay.
Undeniably, the most unique accommodation that you’ll find at Castello di Vicarello is their 1980s Fiat 500 & Vintage mini cooper! Which are fully available to guests if they’d like to that them out for a spin to explore the nearby medieval villages. Alternatively, you can take these vehicles out for a drive along the coast and take in the views of the historic fishing towns and picturesque harbors.
Furthermore, Castello di Vicarello provides a host of activities for their on-site guests. Guests can choose from a wide range of activities! This includes yoga, wine tasting, cooking lessons, horseback riding, biking, a leather-making course, or a hike around the property. Also, you can simply choose to relax and book yourself a massage!
